So, is anyone getting a firm over Fermi?
From what I have read and hints that have been dropped, this is potentially going to be one amazing GPU.
Performance is likely to be ~20-25% faster than HD 5870... but the Q3 part (aka the Daddy), is going to be competitive with the HD5970.
nVidia have hit the proverbial nail on the head with this one, think of it as more of a G80 than a FX.
Perhaps rather than release a GPU which was DirectX compatible, they wanted to release something which was DirectX 11 capable

They are speaking half truths (shame that Charlie's Semi Accurate did not post that story as in truth it is Semi Accurate). In all honesty I cannot see tha Quadro 6GB part being released to consumers (unless someone does a "M.A.R.R.S" which WAS a rebadged Quadro Card). However the 1.5GB and 3GB parts are likely.
