you dont need no prime for benchin neither lol
I just like to get the 'hang' of the board before benching it Leeg. "You can only see the scratches in your car once you wash it yourself"

So far the board is very steady and darn fast. Tested 600x8.5 yesterday and passed 3hrs Prime95 with my new settings.

So I moved on to 600x9 Let's see how this will fair.

very nice Jor3lBR. it's rare to see a 5ghz+ chip not crashing on a stability test. what was the cooling?

    Thanks WhiteFireDragon

Cooling used was a modest OCZ Cryo-Z single stage. This is more for 24/7 use I'm moving on to a Dual Stage just for benching and the Cryo-Z is up for SALE.

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Very nice work Jor3lBR, the REX is the most fun board I have ever used bar none. You will have a great time with it for sure. Makes me want to dust off mine and buy a PSU for it so I can bench again.......

Thank you Cryptik don't hear from you in a while!

A lot of your posts here and on i4memory helped me to get this board 600x8.5 prime stable

Too bad I run out of cooling power to try to go further, it's a very solid board and easy to use. I will get it cold this month and put some results under it's belt before I part away with all my 775 stuff.

    That makes two of us.

I never went back after mine died though, got a refund and went AMD again which is lots of fun clocking too but not as much as the RE.

Pushing FSB and memoryclocks on this board is addictive stuff.

Good to hear some of my info came in handy. You are going very well so far, will be very interested to see how you go with a better phase unit or LN2.

I've been away from things for a few months now, had to build a PC for my GF out of some gear I used for benching and haven't replaced it. Built an i7 system to use which I don't bench, and have been pursuing some other things. I still drop in from time to time to see what's happening here though, I do miss it.

That's too bad, you were going really well with it too before it died. It's good that you're enjoying the AMD stuff though, and that's what's important.

Nice work there rurik. The hard part will probably be getting Prime Large FFT's stable at high FSB with 2 x 2GB. Your NB is on water though, so you should have a good chance.

Exactly my feelings, AMD is fun, BUT S775 is even more fun.... so, should I buy a REX?

DON for the E8600 is a must and 9x600 stable and 10x600 with the proper cooling is possible

Daniel, if i had to choose a S775 board, this would be the one without a doubt!

Flip back a few pages and you see why i liked it so much.

    Go for it bud!

Thanks for the input, I'll buy one after my exams, Alternate has them for a ridiculously low price.

If you have never played with a REX, absolutely, get one. They are really great boards.
