I have this mobo and having some RAM issues...
For some reason led indicator shows AA after startup.
I have Crucial Ballistix Tracers black edition (4GB). Tested with memtest and getting errors on first slot only, both sticks on second slot don't havae errors.
When finally installed Windows 7, Led show AA all the time and system is pretty slow..
Is it memory incompatibility or faulty sticks? Or maybe faulty memory slots on mobo???

Now USB - Ic annot use any of my usb sticks, mouse and keyboard disappearing for fewseconds all the time...

In a small itx case, i don't see them staying cool.

I'm trying my best, however failing to see the whole appeal of this board

Now don't get me wrong as I've had my Zotac i630 board for about 6 months now, with my e7400 @ 3.5GHz (10.5 x 333MHz) stock volts and 4GB DDR2. Its been chugging along fine crunching, doing random things, the occasional bit of C&C generals and UT/QIII arena gaming when I visit friends for a LAN match.

This is the reason I brought that Zotac board, it sits in a "true" itx case (measuring 222mm/328mm/96mm) it has low power consumption, great performance, its quiet, etc.

With what this dfi board has to offer, you have to sacrifice everything the itx format is all about, period. Its pointless.

This is XS! XS is everything xtreme! Small, fast, low, big, high, etc! It's not xtremely pointless.

I don't give much to charity but please see this thread: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...21#post4173421 I am giving away nothing more than pennies to somebody who needs them more than me, and I'm going to be honest I want to see the best of mini-itx form factor

Not pointless for me. I have one in a PC-Q07 which allowed me to use a standard ATX PSU (which I had) and a standard optical drive (which I had) and build a powerful but small and quiet HTPC with low power consumption. I don't really see how you can't see the point of this board? Drop it in a "true" mini-itx case and rock out with more power than your E7400 gives.

With 1.3v RAM and a 32nm dual core at stock voltage (0.805v) I have myself a pretty powerful but very low power consumption HTPC, all in a little case that cost me $30 and allowed reusing a PSU and ODD.

You fail, and forget the SG05/06, acubic T20, upcoming LAN GEAR ITX case, to some extend the Q07 and upcoming Q08. They all fill out a niche market between the IMO bulky mATX systems and the weak ITX.

anandtech has a review of the board.

kind of a bummer that they are limiting the BIOS to limit overclock in future updates. but i guess that could be a good thing since a couple of us already found out what happens when you push it to the max =)
