Airflow.. i'd make it pull out, cause having an extra inlet of warm air in the top of the case seams really stupid Warm air will rise, it will have nowhere to go, so the case will be warm.

About the fans, i dont know how diffucult it is to remove the blades, but hey, fans aren't soo expensive, and with a good tutorial from internet, you shouldn't farck up more than 1.
