    I didn't manage to get it working on this motherboard, with stock drivers. So something is screwed here.

    may be it sli only not 3way on that mobo
    is there an older/newer driver you could use or may be try?

    i cant rember when the 3way drivers came out but there should be a 3way driver for the 8800gtx's do you have one on a cd that came with the gpu?

    Report successful SLI on X38 Maximus Formula, Win7 64bit, 190.62 drivers,
    x2 8800GTX.

    No need to copy and validate nvlddmkm, displays test mode,anyway everything looks ok.

    hi, when you only have one gpu on the board, can u see this : set sli and physx configuration ?
