In device manager, open up the properties of the graphics card, and go to the details and find its device ID ( in the hardware info class ) it should be somethings like VEN_10DE&DEV_0601
You need the numbers from the DEV_ part, and insert them in the device list of the driver's install inf ( nv4_disp.inf ) in the setup's temporary extraction folder.
That is problem m8...I dont have graphic card in dm...

    Random......

the nVidia driver set/ control panel must have a condition at code level to show or hide the SLI setting. How is this asserted and is this explicitly dealt with in the mod tools we have? or are the guys working on this solely fooling the system into meeting the conditions?

Is the code necessary for SLI options_enable (or whatever) obtainable once the drivers are installed?

Damn still no go mate ? think the patch fools the modded driver to be an X58 mobo, have you tried another Asus model for the compile (instead of the REX II ) ?

Talking 9800GTX in SLI on a Rampage Extreme

Okey guys, here we have some 9800GTX SLI on my Rampage Extreme.

This is what you want when you have rebooted after the "SLI hack".

SLI capable system, yes indeed, lets open NVIDIA control Panel and choose "Enabled SLI", notice the X58 in the CPU-z, the thing is, you fool the Nvidia driver to think itīs running with a X58 chipset.

    Benchtime, single vs SLI.

It should, but you need to have same bioses on both cards.

And what's alternative there? I see our HALmod, our SLIstring tool. And without even a single word of their authors...

... how are you planning to enable SLI with one video card / GPU in your system?

lol this guy is determined to take a credit for this ehh?

what you have provided is no 'alternative' but the work of other people hashed into a 'how too' that already excists, in not only an original format but translated into many languages lol

but still you persist in making this 'your own'

    just shameless

Today enabled 3-way SLI with three videocards on non-legal motherboard using HALmod 0.9 and slistring on Win7 X64.

    Rig:

    Intel SLBJH CPU
ASUS Maximus III Formula P55 chipset. SLI isn't working on in legally on 190/191 drivers.
    2x1GB DDR3 DRAMs
    Three GeForce 8800 Ultra
    Enermax Revolution 85+ 1250W
    Xtremelabs.org chiller for CPU

Middle card was not hooked to liquid tubing, just brief testing without any 3D here.

    It works
Will perform performance tests these holidays.

ok i fifured out why win7 freezes with 2 gpu's after trying this mod how I know I did the sli string installer on my win xp hdd and now with 2 gpus wham wont start up at all!! so it has to do with the sli string installer. now how do i get the sli string out after it has been put in? i tried the sli string installer uninstall method but it stays there because each time i re start the sli string installer it still detects the sli string therefore it never actually took the sli string out. where does it install it to and how do i get it out?

I didn't manage to get it working on this motherboard, with stock drivers. So something is screwed here.
