    All Nehalem CPUs have TDP throttling. It's up to the motherboard to give a user the option to turn this feature off. Sadly, the P6T series doesn't include that option.

    When the Asus rep asked me last week what board should be next to get a special bios, the P6TD Deluxe was my answer. It looks like they'll have to fix up the 0001 v2 bios first. I haven't heard of anyone cross flashing the 0006 v1 bios onto a P6TD Deluxe.

    Edit: You should contact angelreaper here on XS. I'm not sure what his board was originally but he has cross flashed back and forth with a variety of v1, v2 and P6TD bios versions so it looks like it's possible. Here's a few posts about this:
