Not sure, shut it down one night and the next day the board turned on but no Debug LED. Tried all the troubleshooting that Saaya listed and then some. Now I am just waiting on Foxconn.

    Oc i7

    Hi guys

    Can you help me?

I have an Oc stable, 4.0 no Ht with Rampage II Extreme, but i need to use a lot of vcore to get it, 1,318, and i have a D0

I just tried everything, increase cpu pll, , qpi/dram...... but no sucess, i only can be stable with this vcore and without ht, if someone could help me i`ll be very happy:

    System specs and bios specs:

    Core: i7 920 D0 Batch: 3851A231

    Psu: Corsair 1000 Watts

    Memory: Corsais Xms3 1600 XMP 9 9 9 24

    2x Radeon 5870 Crossfire

Cooler Noctua nh u 12p SE

    Now the bios

    version 1504 (latest)

    Xmp mode Oc

    200x20 = 4.0

    Vcore 1,318

    qpi/dram 1,35

    pll - auto

    dram voltage 1,65

    uclk 3200

    Loadline - enabled

    c1e - tm - speedstep - disabled

    ht - off

    ioh - ich - Auto

    Thanks again

wsarahan - You are using the 20x multi which requires more vcore than the 21x multi. It's not likely you'll get the vcore significantly lower than it is now using the 21x multi but it should lower it a little. You could also use the 19x multi.

Is it really necessary to lower the vcore just for the sake of it though? If you want 20 x 200 and it takes ~1.3v then that's just what your cpu needs.

This really is just a batch/results thread though, for basic overclocking advice please refer to the appropriate motherboard thread or make another thread in the appropriate section.

    4.2GHz low Vcore
It comes to work with low Vcore when the temperature falls.
To prove the process, a big image is put

Aren't you guys afraid to run your PCs 24/7 with anything above 100Mhz PCI-Express frequency?
Didn't we have numerous reports that it kills HDDs, NICs and video cards long term (short term for high frequencies)?

Is that directed at me or momoto? He's only at 103 MHz, that's hardly a concern imo. On X48 I've run PCI-E upwards of 120MHz wih a SATA HDD and GTX285 for more than 'short term'
with no ill effects or issues whatsoever. For my clocks above on X58 raising PCI-E over 100 MHz is not necessary.

It pressurs it because it relates to BCLK and PCI-E
When a Over 220 BCLK is tried, it pressurs it more. (115~120MHz)
When testing, I am using a video card not regrettable

    Of course, HDD also

I see some low-volt action is going on, which reminds me of my good old high- BCLK & low-volt summer 24/7 OC.

Same setup has passed 11 hours small fft too, and later was stable with x8 RAM, and even 12GB RAM and x18 uncore. It has been running so cool that I sometimes really miss it.

It works great as a heater in the winter-time, you know .
The LinX run was all the way up to 87'C, , Link, but the OOCT run was up to 82'C Link

It has been running fine and stable for 24/7, on the limit of my air-cooing, but that's where I belong, on the edge.
