I've been cooling an E8400 clocked around 4 MHz for quite awhile now on a single NF-P12 with no issues. (Cooled a hotter E6600 with good results as well.) I'm also happy with the NF-S12's and NF-R8's I'm using for case duties.
Yes the NF-P12 is the one with higher pressure, but even that is too little pressure to handle a CPU with high effect. I have used this fan on a NH-U12P cooler, and it worked fine for my good old E8400 up to @4.1GHZ, but it couldn't handle the high effect of my latest Core i7's at>@4GHZ, and therefore it ended up as case fan.

These new Quad-Core's need a couple of CPU-fan with higher static pressure. Those San Ace fans looks good, with a lot of pressure, but is too noisy for my liking
