    i7 860 @ 3.9ghz nice n stable

Finally got Corsair h50-1 installed today. My temps are very good highest ive seen it go is 72c whilst running OCCT. idle 28-30. whilst running PCmark Vantage x64 36c - 52c (some core hotter than others)

    177blck X 22 multi 1.38v

No more blue screens for me at last !!

The only thing that bugs me now is that USB wireless doesnt work. Only cos C-State is disabled. Need a bios fix for this i think.

What's your BCLK wall on these motherboards/CPUs? My system craps out at 216MHz BCLK, it completes Pi1M @ 215MHz and Pi32M @ 213MHz, no matter the memory speed.

Ive been messing about last night went to bed at 4am trying to figure out the usb issue.

ive sussed it!! all you have to do is use 21x multi enable C-state left on auto
    (i was using 22x before for 3.9Ghz)

    now im running 21 x 181 bclk 1.376v 3.8Ghz

    Cas 8 8 8 24 1T DDR3 1810Mhz 1.65v

This wouldnt work when i was using stock cooler not on Win7 X64 anyway..Vista
X64 booted 4ghz no probs with stock cooler. Any ways im happy at 3.8ghz I realised today that H50 radiator was the wrong way round. Turned it around and now my idle temp is 21c. Not bad im at the top level of my house which is the warmest. This Gskill stuff is wicked very versatile.

Water cooling. vcore 1.408V, PLL 1.8V, IMC 1.21V, other on AUTO
    Temp. 55-58 (prime)

At 214 BCLK PC freez after few minutes on Prime. 215, 216, 217 (218 doesn't boot) freez instantly when i run prime. But games runs OK

Anyone else having issues with the Via audio drivers having a massive memory leak? I've tried both versions available from the Asus site, and both just suck.

After big delay, last friday received my Core i5 750.

To be sure that nothing was wrong, before I did a contact test between pins and CPU socket. I fit it with my water Block, for few hours.

I dismantled them and made these pictures HIRES in MACRO.

Notice the circled areas, which are the marks mess electrical contact...

    Well, I am now terrified!

    Hello people,

Can someone tell me how do I enable the 21 X multiplier on the Asus P7P55D PRO board? When i put the 21X multiplier it stays on 20X. BIOS stands 21X.
    I use a Core i5 750. And i can't get my BCLK well stable above 204..

Buy another (better) CPU. BCLK is CPU related

my new i5-750 can do 235MHz max and 232MHz Primestable with aircooling. My first i5 did 226MHz max and 222MHz stable.

Do you test only with 1.21v VTT? If yes, test with more (~1.3v)

msmeenge: A Core i5-750 will need to use the turbo mode of the CPU to access the 21X multiplier. If a motherboard lets you select a 21X multiplier then it is supposed to turn on turbo mode at the same time. Make sure turbo is enabled in the bios just to make sure. You might also need to have SpeedStep (EIST) enabled on some boards and update your bios to the latest version in case there's a problem with it.

RealTemp and i7 Turbo will give you an honest look at your multiplier.

Just leave multi in auto mode. you will then see a turbo mode line appear in the bios. See

    Bios A1 Tweaker 1of2
obviously change A1 Overclock to manual to get BCLK etc.,

    Hello unclewebb,

Thanks for your reply but everything u suggested and adviced i've tried already. I been trying to SET the multiplier to 21 X so the turbo has to activate automatically, no succes. Been enabling speedstep which shows the turbo option after enabling. and multiplier on auto, no succes. updated to latest BIOS, been trying all BIOSSES now. I just can't get it to work..

Does anyone else have stability issues with G.Skill Ripjaws? At stock settings I get occassional crashes to a blank screen (less of these after switching from 8GB to 4GB). I get other errors such as superfetch stopped working, windows update stopped working, host process stopped working, microsoft software protection service stopped working, etc.

Hi msmeenge, I have similar problems with the P7P55D. This seems to be a hidden bug in the bios.. I've previously fixed my turbo feature by reloading a saved OC profile. However, i flashed to bios 0915, and did not save an OC profile afterwards. Afterwards i got the turbo bug again. To make matters worse, ASUS seems to have disabled the bios downgrade option completely, so now i'm also stuck with a motherboard where the turbo feature doesnt work anymore, and no possibility to try a previous bios + oc profile for a possible fix.

    See this link for my (and others) experiences with this problem on the ASUS support forum;

    http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?...Language=en-us

    or this one for earlier problems, which i fixed back then;

    http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?...Language=en-us

I think i'll start an RMA procedure next week.. (ordered a backup board, so i can miss it for a while)

Apparently fixed turbo for some people that were having issues. I saw it mentioned on the Asus forums (followed a link from here).

Is anyone else noticing, that the P7P55D needs more voltage on the CPU to get it stable? I got a CPU from someone tested on a Gigabyte P55-UD5, and he needs 0,04V less for 20x200...anyone got a clue why this can be?
