    thanks guys.its batch L836B361.
im on water w/ AC blowing into the rad
    so its cold.
i got it to prime with 1.40v in bios.
will post SS soon.heres a pic of the cooling
setup, its not the prettiest but very effective.
after the AC goes throught the rad the 4500rpm
tornado fan blows the cold air down into the case
where the two 4000rpm TT fans keep the rest cool.

depends mate can be you need a notch of vcore...for sure is that, what vid is yours ? Oc nub is 1,17 and needed same vcore as me to pass blend long time, it was 1,42+ set on bios mine is 1,1875 and needs 1,43+ set on bios, i think you need a bump and it will pass for hours

    Cheers

Are you using cellshocks again? If so try lowering your mch ref. down 1 notch, back to stock. On my board they like the 0.760 setting over the 0.800.

to go pump/rad/cpu/res?i had no clue
as to what i was doing when i put it
together.i looked and looked at pics
as to how it should be and i think i

It should be pump->rad->cpu->res. Awesome clocks; I think the chip gods are smiling on you. You have all the golden chips in the Intel Section.

and yes the last three cpu's seem to be
a gift from the cpu gods.before them its
was just average chip's one after another.

I seemed to have hit a FSB wall. I get 4.15GHz(13x319) and it passes Prime95 for an hour with temps only low 50's. as soon as I go 13x320 it won't post at all and just beeps at be and resets itself at default clocks of 13x200. I even tried lowering the multiplier slowly down to x6 and still no post. I was hoping there is a trick to get a little more, or maybe a setting I overlooked.

    Here's my BIOS settings:
    Code:

Mark, with those voltages you can probably run 8x500 instead. Might need more MCH for it (1.34) and you will have to ajust refs. Also, set you (G)MCH Latch to Auto and pick you ram multiplier. Set your Static tRead (Performance Level) to 9 and maybe even 8 if 9 is stable.

Sorry to trouble everyone but first of all, thanks for the info. I started reading and realized it would take me forever to get through it. I have this mobo, an E8500, Xigmatech Dark Knight, 2x2gb Corsair PC8500 1066 Dominator memory, 4870 1GB, 2x500GB WD Black in Raid 0, 1x1TB WD Black for storage, SATA LG burner, and a 950 watt quad 12v rail 85+ Thermaltake Black Widow modular PSU. I have a Lian Li with 2 intake in front, 1 exhast in rear, 1 exhaust on top. I'm wondering what the best bios setup would be for my setup. I want a nice daily OC. I don't need to get 4.5 unless I can. I've been running Vista 64 but I got Windows 7 for $29 as a student so I picked up the 2x500GB because I broke one of my raptors SATA connectors :/ I'm doing a fresh install soon so I figured it would be a great time to OC this gaming rig. I don't mind lapping the cpu and HS if it will make a huge differance. I'm mainly after a decent daily OC. Template would be awesome

    Kind Regards,

    Brian

I am having problems getting anything past 400FSB on ym EP45C-UD3R. I'm not a noob to clocking but so far this board sucks. Any tips?

Try settng just your cpu voltage, mch voltage and memory voltage first. This board really doesn't like having alll its setting set at once and this is my guess about what you are doing wrong. Then you go through one by one and try to tweak your gtls and other setings. This board does not, suck!
