    Intel i7 870 & HD5870 [56k warning]

Results by HardOCzech Team from ASUS World GameMaster Tournament 2009 - Slovakia...I don't know why, but best BIOS for overclocking on Maximus III Formula was original 0301...we had many problems with 0501 and newest

    Bench system:

    ASUS Maximus III Formula
    Intel Core i7 870 ES
    Kingston HyperX 2000MHz CL9/Crucial Value 1333MHz CL9
2x AMD Radeon HD5870 (but we tested only one piece, because we didn't have time for CrossFire)
    Corsair TX850/HX1000

    max freq 5333MHz
    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=790550

    Super PI 1M - 8.016s
    http://hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=912769

    wPrime 32M - 5.28s
    http://hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=913431

    3DMark 03 - 95342
    http://hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=913437

card was running with 1020MHz on core and 1300MHz on memory

    3DMark 05 - 27702
not HWBot result, because we forgot GPU-Z windows

    Thanks ASUS for great hardware

Congrats, I just have a couple of questions for you!

    1) Type of cooling used on the CPU? LN2 or dry ice?
    2) Cold boot bug?
    3) Cold bug?

    Best Regards,
    Niko

it needs online validation for the Top 20 of the all processors only?...not many, but it wasn't bad

    Nice CPU scores you got.
But 2006 sm2 score is way too low for the frequency you benched..maybe driver related ?
I can hit 640 points more with 400mhz lower CPU speeds and 5850@ these frequences

Still, it is a very impressive result. How much voltage the poor rams get?

You pushing the CPU hard with 1.64V But last time I checked out PiFast records then a 8sec was a WR Times change

We used wPrime, not PiFastrams were running with their default 1.65V1.64V for CPU was quite good voltage, but I tried 1.76V too...1.55-1.65V was better
