    it looks like its designed for inline applications.

    I think it takes the temp off the metal around it.

    How much did it cost?

    I have got two, and the temperature is very close to the mercury thermometer reading (+/- 0.5 C). I am very happy with it.

    Looks pretty restrictive compared to the ID of a fatboy. (And yes, I know, compared to any other block on the market it's probably less restrictive. Just saying, looks like the ID could be chamfered a bit.)
