Also not that its anything bad but people who post scores that are way too low to get on the scoreboard which this thread is about really doesnt make sense

This 550be is sweet. I don’t think it’s quite as good as my 965be but it’s close. I did get lucky this time and for only $90, this is the best AMD processor dollar for dollar that I have owned!

Looks like you got a good 550 too oldtimer...

I have to agree, my 550X2 is by far the best Bang for the Buck I've ever had!
(There aren't too many MicroCenters, you live near Cincinnati?)

Anyway... Heres my results.
My machine is probably similar to your crazy Uncle's '72 Nova. Built from junkyard parts, and pretty ugly, but it just might give your fancy Mitsubishi twin turbo a run for it's money....

I didn't really try too hard to get this result, but I did shut down unnescessary background tasks etc...

This was ran on the Gear in my sig with one exception, I bought a 4870/512 for $130 on Saturday. So this is a 4870/4850 Crossfire settup.

The 4850 is going in my HTPC box eventually, but I just couldn't resist playing with Xfire for awhile....

Junkyard parts are where it’s at Dave, if you saw my test rig; the first thing that came to your mind would be (junkyard). Good looks are great for the show but what’s under the hood makes it go. Function before fashion works for me.
I know you have a nice 550 that’s what helped me decide to try the one I have.

Well, I moved the 4850 to the HTPC box so I won't have any high scores for awhile but I thought I'd do this in the proper format...
With any luck maybe I can still make the list next time MSIMAX updates (Thanks BTW!).

Who knows, Microcenter has 4870's for $130 again, I may just get a hair next payday.
