Keep the updates coming man, this is looking good!

I got some from PPC's and I have to say that are REALLY bright. I got white ones, and my windowed server illimunates the room it is in. Extremely flexable too, and a moderate build quality as I see very little chance of distroying them.

I did not recieve any adheasive, but was easy enough to track down at a local shop.

I will most likely find a place for some in my upcoming Murdermod

    .....and it continues.

Sorry about the delay guys, in order to buy new parts, I had to sell my old parts, I know the waiting sucks, for you and for me. I'll make it up though

New GPU on the way, some other EK goodies + I still have to do my order from Jab-Tech but I'm just waiting for something special...

Looks like I'll have a busy weekend thanks to my friend Nils! The new MDPC-X.com coloured sleeve is AMAZING!!! These pictures DO NOT justify the real product and how it looks in real life, thanks to my camera, I can't show you guys the PURE colour p0rn!

    Love his drawings.

    Yippeee!

    Heatshrink

Red/Orange/Yellow! The colours are AMAZING in real life.

This PSU took me well over 2 weeks to find in Australia, mainly because its been discontinued, AFAIK there was only 1 left when I ordered this.

    100% Modular design!

eVGA SLI LE - This baby is a "Classified - Back in Black" pretty much, just without all the "Fancy" bells and whistles. You may also notice the 6gb of Corsair 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 v1.65 and the Core i7 920 D0.

Now, time to sleeve, hopefully the part I'm waiting for @ Jab-Tech will be there soon, my order from EK will be shipped out Friday, more info on that soon.

    Cheers!

    .....and yet another update.

My order from Jab-Tech will be finalized by Monday, so I should get it by Friday, if not, it'll be in customs sitting there.

My EK order has been shipped on Thursday, that should come in 7ish days. My order with an 8pin extension and some other nic nacs are on there way (YAY more sleeving)

So I decided to do some sleeving on Wednesday arvo, I was going to do a few cables from the 24pin then do the rest on the weekend....well, I kinda got carried away (as usual) and did it all in one hit. One thing sleeving has taught me is that if you're impatient, you'll stuff it up, then you'll get so frustrated the PSU flies out the window (I didn't get to that stage luckily!)

Please excuse the pictures, they were done inside as it's pouring down with rain. Also, excuse the heatshrink imperfection as I couldn't get it even!

8pin Power (GOD DAYM THE GREEN IS AMAZING)

    Dual 6pin PCI-e cables

And the huge Python - 24pin Connector.

This week, well, hopefully most of my packages will arrive so I can actually start the build!

    Cheers =)

Looks great dingdong! I would have never picked that color green until I saw it against the black, amazing contrast. Looking forward to more pics!

One question for you, why did you choose to go with 6 1GB sticks of ram? Honestly I didn't even think they still sold 1GB sticks anymore.

Well, I wasn't going to but I got a good deal on them second hand, so I had to take it =) I don't really want 12gb anytime soon either.

Thanks for the comment The green is amazing against the black...

Never pass up a good deal! I actually have 12GB of Dominator but I'm not sure how that will affect my overclock so I might put up 6GB for sale is it doesn't work out. So far I've seen some people have good luck clocking 12GB and others not so much.

Hi dingdong have been following your work log from the start and I really like what I have seen so far.
I too live in Perth also, however I hit a brick wall when it came to finding local suppliers for water-cooling hardware.

Have you had any experience buying from Gam mods or Pc case gear?

I was lucky enough to be given some info on where to buy water-cooling hardware from, surprisingly, from a guy who was working in a northern suburbs computer retail outlet, he was very helpful.

I intend to build a water cooled TJ07 as well, with blue and yellow sleeving from MDPC.
If you don't mind me asking, could you please let me know the cost of postage for your order from Jab-tech, was it based on weight or size of the order?

I really hope you don't mind me asking about the cost (some people are touchy about that) and I under stand if your not willing answering that.

Keep up the excellent work mate!

kgtiger I advise you to just work out what you will need from Jab-tech and then email them about how much shipping to Australia will cost. I did that when I was looking for my stuff.

GAM Mods is a great store and I think GAM is on these forums (if he isn't, then check the OCAU ones because he is on there) and will always answer your questions. He has a great range of fittings and it just keeps on growing. PCCG has really improved in their watercooling range recently, with now having XSPC radiators, EK-Multioption reservoirs and Heatkiller Waterblocks, so they are also a good store if you want to save on shipping.

Loving this mod BTW dingdong, I should be getting my stuff soon after seeing your last mod convinced me to do it Good luck with this one, and i'm sure it will look awesome!

    Hey there.

Gammods are great, they have the biggest range in Australia, PCCG are OK but their shipping kills everything. Greig from gammods is also a really nice bloke to deal with and you'll be supporting a home run business

My order from Jab-tech was relatively small, I was charged $75 for express (#-5days with tracking) but then refunded $20 and it was cheaper. Create an account, log in, then add some ideas to your account and the shipping will update for international

Usually, I order whatever I can from Gammods then get those "Hard-to-find" items from the US.

Thanks MadMonkOfFunk for all you’re in-put, much appreciated and welcome to the forum.

Thanks dingdong also for your thoughts, it's been nice to read positive comments about Gam. I have been looking through the site to try and find as much as I can, so I can buy as much as possible in OZ. I think your comments have sealed the deal.

    Looking forward to an update.

GAM is really great, and you'll get a helpful reply from him if you need anything sorted out.

Bring on the next update Dingdong!
