Thread: i7 Computer Boot Issue

    is this at stock settings (it is) [edit - got any other RAM to try?]

    i've got that PSU here no issues in terms of compatibility ok so it's gotta be something simple

    i would suggest pull the board and plugging nothing but PSU and keyboard/gfx for basic bootup

    you might have some other issues if it persists
    your dead PSU might have caused something else some damage

    Yeah, thats whats so confusing. If the components were broke it wouldnt POST, but if they were functioning, it does, but shuts off....

    I dont have any other DDR3, which is messed up because I have about 30 GB worth of assorted DDR2 sticks...

    Should I try booting without the second GPU?

    (Im posting this on my Athlon 800 backup rig by the way, yes seriously, an Athlon Thunderbird, thank you computer issues! )
