project: lian-li v2010 & PA140.3

starting new worklog with lian-li v2010 , need some ideas
motherboard - blooderage
memory - dominator gt
the case is black (i will powder coat satin black inside)

1. like this plate but not UV blue , i want clear plate to put some red led inside.

i want to start a worklog and buying all the water cooling and modding parts , can you give some ideas??

2. how can i mount the 140X3?
like the mount on the bottom of TJ07.
there is any brackets i can buy somwere?

3. side windows:

can i do a clear side windows without to see the screws from the outside (like bolt on)?

i think about glow logo with plexi or acryl with red led attached to the top of the case with laser cut or water cut (i didn't know how it call).

i know how to build the water cooling system
i want to put PA140.3 + 120X2

but i'm talking about the design of the case
like murderbox or MDPC system as inspiration.
i checked the worklog list and i didn't found a lot of V2010 cases.
so i ask for help and ideas for clear/clean/simple design.

4. what is the different between TJ07 and V2010? (tj07 is more popular)
V2010 look bigger and could fit any size of rad.

on the murderbox worklog they use BSP G1/4" - 1/2" High Flow Fittings and Primochill Pro LRT Black 3/8” ID 5/8” OD tube without any clamp ,
how can put 1/2" barb into thin tube??? how come it's without clamps?

To get tubing on, dip the ends in boiling water for a minute, this will loosed it an and it should go on with a bit of force and some wiglleing. If this doesnt work, put it in boiling water and then get some small nose pliars, stick it in the tube and open the poliars up, which will stretch it some more

pelo you can use water-jet or laser for the top.
I prefer water-jet because there's no heat but both would
work. Price is dependent on the shop. Just look around your area for sheet-metal shops.

The acrylic can also be bought at a local plastic shop or Google acrylic or lexan. All will work for your purpose. Some of the online shops also sell it.

You can attach it with double sided tape or silicone.

MO PLEDs have been long gone for some time now (almost 3 years):

Your best bet now is to use a VFD display if you want to mimic that setup.

I don't recommend switching rivets to making your own threads, the plate is probably thin and that's one reason they used rivets in the first place.
Just buy a rivet tool, they are pretty cheap and then you get, IIRC, 3mm rivets, both flat and round head.

Check my build log how to remove rivets.

MDPC have black rivets but think those are round headed. You can probably paint those with a small brush after they are applied to the case.

Those screws are thumbscrews if you are referring to the large one that is holding the sideplate to the backplate?

Anyway.. yes, Thumbscrews. As far as i know, there is only one size on theese screws, and the holes for your sidepanel fits it like a glove.

Most are M3 = 3mm and then the others are UNC 6-32. Then there are others with non machine threads like the fan screws etc.
