Well because 58xx x2 is suppose to fight the GT300, but that leave the GT300 x2 in a different level all together. The x3 could give at least some company to the GT300 x2. This would off course mean that x2 would be cheaper than the x3 which be priced below the GT300 X2 and above GT300, the x2 would be priced around the GT300 "even if it is better" because the x3 would be high end.

Essentially price-wise GT300 X2>58xx x3>GT300/58xx x2>58xx
