Intel X25-M G2: Previews & Reviews

[XKaan]

The corsair drives really don't perform well because of their memory controller (that i may be wrong on), but I know they aren't anywhere near as good as the intel drives. I would wait.

I had a look and they use the Indilinx Barefoot controller and Samsung MLC. I read a few reviews, and although the Intel is indeed faster, it isn't by a huge margin. The Xtreme Corsair are basically right on par with a Vertex Turbo.

They are out of stock at NewEgg, but for $179 on a 64gig I clicked "Auto Notify"

I would rather have the Intel for $220 though.
