There's a little 'tab' of plastic on the connector that needs to be lifted up, eg. with a pin or very small screwdriver. If you look on the 'back' of the connector, gently wedge the implement of your choice just above the bit of metal pin that you can see. The plastic flap should lift up and you can pull out the wire. You have to do this for every pin on the connector.

be careful with the heatgun when you shrink those, i ended up melting the wires on my front ports on my v1200
