well the retailers selling it online in the links i provided in the first post are selling it at over $140. This morning a site from the UK reported it being sold from retailers at 99 pounds which is almost $163 US dollars. So I am beginning to lose faith that this chip is going to be sold competitively. If its sold at that price an X4 810 is a better value and an overclocked X4 810 should beat the X4 630 pretty easily as most phenom II's cache has usually given them a 15% to 30% advantage over similar clocked Athlon II's. Though If I recall correctly the X4 810 only has 4mb L3 cache instead of the 6mb L3 cache rest of the Phenom II's have. And with the new X4 945 at 3.0GHZ and a TDP of 95W and only $20-$30 more right now It would be the Quad to get especially if any retailer like newegg does a deal for like $10 off.
Now if these early prices are just inflated because they know the bigger online retailers aren't offering these chips yet an the X4 630 is like $100 than it would be another story. Guess we will have to wait and see until places like newegg get it in stock.
