MSI Special BIOS for for AMD 3 core to 4 core

I have no idea Dopamin3, I have just bought a DKA790GX Platinum and am waiting for a stable bios before I make my purchasing decision of either buying the Phenom II X3 720 BE or the II X2 550 BE.
Will decide on the proccy when I will see the successful unlocking of the 550 BE. till now I have unconfirmed reports that the DKA790GX Platinum 1.8 bios does unlock the cores.
Lets hope Toppc gives us some good news.

1.8 no good for unlocking. Did a quick test on 1.9b2, no coldboot issue with changing NB speed (problem similar on early beta of GD70). I will be testing for stability today, but it seems like it should be good

What stepping you have on the 550BE?
My stepping is CACYC AC 0920GPMW. In Windows XP it work as X4, but in Windows 7 64-bit the computer reboot when it´s come to Windows logo. :-(

It is the 1.8 bios, so I am wondering what went wrong with you.
