I just got my HK 3.0 from sidewinders so I snapped a few pics for you. My old sony digicam sucks but you can see what you need to see here. The 1/2 x 3/4 bitspower fitting will only fit (at least on mine) using two bitspower 45° fittings. When I tried to use just one 45, there just wasn't quite enough clearance to thread the fitting in.

Thanks for your effort. Do you happen to know the largest fitting that would fit without using those 45° fittings ? I really don't like their look
