    thanks for the condolences guys

@ perkam - that 3/8" tube over half inch barb literally cant be pulled off, when you want to undo the tubing it must be cut

so thanks to some zalman tubing clamps (to crimp tubes to seal) I was able to replace the dead pump very easily with only about 50ml of fluid leak (paper towels handled that ) without drainging the loop

after completely redoing everything and quadruple checking my wiring, the system fired up and went through a full post to boot I still have to test video output and the functionality of both video cards but so far so good. I am off to dinner at my girlfriend's house but I'll keep you guys up to speed with further updates

So today I received my Deck Legend Ice (tactile) keyboard and I gotta say I am floored! this thing is incredible and the keys are sooooooo nice to press the other great thing is the incredibly bright blue led keys, each one is lit by an individual LED and it is about five times brighter than my blue g15 I have sitting here.

    image from their site

I can see many years of use coming out of this keyboard, I am so happy even though it cost me $169 from their site direct

Is it full anti-ghosting? I been looking at getting rid of the G15. It is nice, just a little big.

full n-key rollover and with the PS2 model you can press as many keys at one time as you can fathom... for example: "f0r4pokide3gtlw2hyjusa" <==== all done in a single simultaneous fist press on the keyboard. Also it is much smaller than the g15 which is great

I might have to look at that. I was looking into some of the Razers, but really wasn't impressed. I also saw that new Logitech, but same wasn't really impressed.

Now dualbrain, what have we learned from the T-mobile commercials. Butt dialing (typing) is not a good thing.

edit: Just remembered you are in Germany. Might have to youtube that one.

I think a lot of people will say they love their G15 though I know I do.

    It's slightly(Ok quite a bit) cheaper.

Yea, Mine is about 4 years old now. Something like that. I have enjoyed it, but I don't use the macros or the screen, so it takes up alot of space. IDK, mostly just been tossing around the idea of something new is all.

edit: O and BTW, is Flow on MDPC yet or do I have to come to Germany and hunt down Nils. Don't give me an excuse Nils, I'll do it.

honestly I couldnt tell you, I think it had to be the power supply...., oddly only one video card died though, and since it is the op one it will be a breeze to replace all the screws right there, easy access and I still have one working card so I wont be out of a computer in the mean time and who said dual video cards aren't awesome?

I love it. It really was fantastic to see it in real life. I was part of the |HgC| clan at the Nor'Easter and you basically convinced me to drop $200+ on watercooling. Fantastic job man, I hope to see you next year!

Come on Dream, give him more credit than that.
You do have a point though.

Your not really WC'ing if your loop doesn't cost more than your rig.

man, I am so glad to hear how positive you are!! I think personally, I would have been devastated after all that time and energy and would be spending my time trying to figure out ways of connecting extra tygon to my muffler and shutting the garage door. . .

my hats off to you for seeing the bright side of life and getting back on the road with it!

On a side note, I swear that side shot of your door panel into the inside - there's no acrylic there huh? It's just empty?

you know, at a point, when you start realizing half the computer is dead, you just take the attitude of yep, sh*t happens. The only thing that saved me from going insane over it was the fact that micro center is only 40 minutes away and that I have a supportive family who helped get me away from the computer when I was punching holes in the table it was sitting on as I noticed the system was dead.

Yes, unfortunately the acrylic I ordered for the side panel (nice stuff from tap plastics) was cut an inch too short by them in one direction due to an unfortunate typo by me of what should have been 15 1/8" as 14 1/8"

made it easier to photograph though and the acrylic is really only there for everyday protection. I may leave the acrylic off actually because it makes the board run cooler and the system more well ventilated. I plan on having my room very secure at the fraternity house so I don't really have to worry about people messing with my stuff.
