Yes. thats the pattern. Sleep is no longer the issue for me. Now, anytime I have to turn off Power Supply to Mobo, restart results in the flashing lights. Several on/off cycles of PS randomly one time will give me the steady Force reset light when switching PS to off. I immediately switch to on, and all is good again with steady Force Reset light on and I can power up normally.

I am left to conclude something related to Power in PS or Mobo PWM, I may purchase new PS to see....I will update.

One more thing, now when shut down with PS switch on, Fan LED's remain lit, whether plugged into Molex or directly to Mobo. 12v power issues, but from where? Molex connection tends to imply Power Supply may be culprit, may have taken hit during initial power off. It's a cheap 650W-BFG and I probably need more wattage anyway with my SLI.

I have a G15 keyboard, and on resume (when it won't resume) it causes the lights to flicker very quickly, looks to be at about 60 Hz.

    that sounds... odd...
there is definately something wrong there...
id also guess psu, but you should tell foxconn tech support the details so they can have a look and make sure the board isnt related in this?

Sorry to have co-opted this thread, but since I started, may as well finish...FYI

A new power supply solved the blinking of Force Reset, blue LED and mobo RST\PWR lights @ 60HZ. I can only conclude that I blew a 12v rail, probably to the mobo, and the flashing lights were telling me the motherboard did not have needed voltages to POST. 5vdc was present for the LED's but I could not meter any 12vdc to mobo on the CPU lines, but I did not go through the entire ATX connection.

Love that BloodRage mobo, I'm glad is wasn't the problem.

    Thanks for the assistance!

the cpu gets all its juice from the 8pin connector fyi
the 12v in the atx connector is mostly for pciE slots afaik...

Thanks, by the way. Been lurking for a bit. Glad to see you're still hanging out here.

Yup. LCD stays dark, just backlit (if that makes sense) and all the lights just flicker at about 60Hz. Haven't checked the lights on the motherboard to see if they do the same. I'll take a look next time it happens.

Killer. I'm going to have to hunt down a tester supply to see if it remedies it.
    Thanks for the follow-up.

so wait, the leds of your case are flashing?
    mhhhh that sounds very odd...
and this happens when you try to power on?
    all leds?
    same after a cmos reset?
    same with older bios files?

Sorry for the long delay in responding, I just became a Daddy so tinkering has taken a bit of a back seat.
I think it may be related to the Hybrid Sleep in Windows 7 (and Vista, although I don't use Vista). I disabled Hybrid Sleep and it worked just fine, sleeping and resuming over and over.

I'm going to try putting it into Hibernate soon and see if it works then. I think it may be the actual issue since it was probably going into Hibernate mode after a while of being in Sleep before.

    congrats!!!

well i do remember that s3 and s4 was bugged by award and ami, it was a problem on all 1366 boards... it took them a while to fix it, and they never fixed it 100%...
i remember from back then that changing the vga and even the vga bios can make all the diference between it working and not working...
and it was quite common that s3/s4 resume worked 9/10 times or something like that.... sometimes it did, sometimes it didnt... very annoying stuff...
i wish intel would make all that basic acpi stuff part of their own locked and maintained code block in the bios, so it just works and they dont rely on award or ami and the board makers to get it working.
