justin.kerr: It looks like RealTemp is using TJMax=99C for your CPU. Did you make any changes in the RealTemp settings window that would have changed this?
Some of the ES processors I've seen have TJMax set to 92C or 93C by Intel but all of the retail ones I've seen so far have been TJMax=100C. It looks like HW Monitor might be using TJMax=95C.
TJMax is contained within a register within the CPU. I'll show you later how to read this register directly so you can see what program is telling you the truth. Try Core Temp 0.99.5. I'm pretty sure that it is reading this register correctly and it will directly display TJMax on its main window.
