I watched your topic from the beginning, and it's very impressive what you've done there!!

Very lucky to have an i7 platform

So what about your "old" rig?

Sweet, the "bong build" is still going!

Nice batch on your i7; mine's real close to yours. Was running easy today 216bclk x 19 @1.34 vcore. Good luck!

    well exactly

meanwhile i had a little accident with this bong build when i was assembling grafix block

but i plugged the card and it still works

don't know what impact this cleavage will have in future, maybe oc or stabilty or maybe just nothing

Doh, that stinks. How'd it happen? Hit it really hard with the cooler or dropped a block on it?

I think you should change the title to 'bong build'. Kindof catchy and will guarantee lots of views!

Stacker 832 w/ Dual Loop WaterCooling aka Bong Build, yeah it sounds right
    Thank u for idea, Headala

Card was just dropped out of table with unscrewed block on it
    kinda accident
but it works so my upgrade to 4870x2 delayed

    Ready for tubing

    And now first loop accomplished:
    Laing DDC1-T w/ EK top G3/8 -> D-Tek Fuzion v1-> Thermochill PA120.3 -> Swiftech MCW30 -> EK Res 150

    Then second loop assembled:
    Laing DDC1-T w/ EK top G3/8 -> EK-FC8800 > Thermochill PA120.2 -> EK Res 150

And sytem ready to be feeled with water and leak tests

    time to updates!
did a quick tests running following setup

this whirlpool i use to estimate flow

    and get poor results
fuzion can't keep a temp, same as pwm cooling through the heatpripes and mcw-30

running 4200-4400 temps getting even worse
so i have to re-config cooling

    this guy goes to south

    (part from dfi x-38 lt)

    this guy goes to pwm

    and mcw-30 left in nb

for cpu i will use heatkiller lt

    get naked

here is one of the reason of poor stock cooling

and finally funny bug from dfi
if connect stock sound card i e bernstein audio, led fan connected to nb connector will lit even if the board shutted down!
    officially confirmed

next part with reassembled cooling coming soon
    be tuned

The colour of liquid (pink? red?) is not the best one fot this mobo. Better change it to maybe a black one.
    The rest looks nice.
What did DFI did with cooling is .........n/c

Interesting color choice. Looks like butterscotch in a lot of the pics. It is nice to see something a bit different.

yes guys you are right, colors don't match a bit, and i'm going to completely change color scheme later, powder coat the case etc
meanwhile i'd like to share last pics with dfi
properly watercooled dfi i have to admit
    here we go

after all that and more tests i've learned three issues about this mobo:
    1. it is UNCOMPATIBLE with D0 procs at >200 bclk
    2. pwm temp is still very high even with waterblock. it is getting up to 68C with 4300 1.37v
    3. it makes loud hissing sounds under load

well so i decided to try smth different, and i'm happy of it

yes, with dfi nothing works right except direct airflow
even separate block for pwm barely holds a temp

but with foxconn same scheme works great

45C on NB and 50C on PWM after 10 hrs load in prime\linpack
