I've a htpc with a dodgy mobo at high temps (bloody MSI frackin useless engineers) where this would quite possibly kill my board. Also there are components around your socket that could probably do with the air flow.. which you will reduce when the rad is used instead of an air cooler.

Well how many people would use a watercooling in a HTPC build vs a regular PC build?
