rabor and seba84_2005, since you both are at the same speed. Are you both on air or water and what is the temps after running linX all 20 passes at 4.2 with HT on?
Still haven't heard anything about the 21x multi though. It seems my scores goes down when using it, maybe just a glitch though.
I can do 4.3 on air with this c/0 stepping but that is the limit it do believe even with the megahalems. As the chips isn't getting hot, just limited.
I have i7 920 D0 and run 4.2GHz on 1.26v, QPI 1.3v. My max temps with stress 70*C (room temp 26*C) but I cool with liquid cooling on CPU and moborabor and seba84_2005, since you both are at the same speed. finally Bios 1502 solved my cold boot issue, i had a cold boot issue only when i turn off the psu from the back switch. but that problem is gone with the new bios. finally they knew how to fix the problem. hope they release a WHQL of it
I'm on air (True Copper.. edit: lapped) & max temps on LinX are 74C @ approx 23C room temp.
I used to have watercooling btw (2000 to 2008), but it just became too much of a hassle.. & with <55nm technology hardly necessary anymore..

Thank youIt worked for me....great bios so far though. No issues to report and I really like the relative cpu core voltage option.
My NB now sits @ 38c (down from 48c) just by wedging a 60cm fan in place on top of my GTX280, never has caused problems, but its nice to have it cooler anyway

I had a W3520 and suspension worked perfectly on BIOS 14xx.

Something is wrong with my sytem, can't put S3 Mode to work.
Edit: Found it!... Was Creative drivers with DTS Encoder on... S3 works great now!

Really hope someone can help me...
I have this motherboard along with corsair dominator 1600 6gb ram and core i7 920 C0 stepping.
I've managed to get the CPU to 3.4 and 1340 on ram at prime stable. I then tried to get to 3.6 and the ram at 1440 and it's nearly stable but I think I'm having to use quite a lot of volts to do so. I'd love it if someone could help me get to 4ghz.
Current settings at 3.6
CPU Multi @ 20
BCLK @ 180
UCLK @ 3060
QPI @ 6459 (I Think)
VCORE @ 1.33 Prime Load @ 1.349 - 1.369
CPU PLL @ 1.81
VTT @ 1.325 Load @ 1.33
VDIMM @ 1.65
HT ON
Speedstep and C1E Disabled
The others like IOH etc are on auto.
I just cant seem to go higher than 3.6. My temps are fine (no higher than 65) as I'm on water.
Hope somone can weave their magic and help me get it up, even 3.8 would be better.!
Will it eventually kill my cpu pushing it to 4ghz?
