Idle temps are around 42 to 45c, and full load hits around 83 to 86c... not ideal really, but my HSF is pretty poor... also these are temps with it built outside of the case, when I had it built inside my case, I couldn't Prime with 4GHz as the temps would go right up into the mid 90's...
Back on the rig, hope you do finally get it sorted...man this has been draggin on for ages and it must suck to have it so close but yet still not right. What kinda idle / load temps (core temps if you can pls) you knocking out with that speed / volts??

Hmmm, I can't see both of my sets of RAM being faulty... also I have tested each module individually, and they ran 20+ passes of Memtest boot disc without a single error...
Surely memtest would have picked up any faulty RAM??
I personally think it is the CPU, also the guy from OcUK who I talked with on the phone today told me that there have been several people returning i7's because of this issue, and that it was the processor that was the issue...
I don't think I could have been unlucky enough to have purchased 2 sets of faulty triple channel RAM!!!!
