Got the 9200 Platinum low voltage kit (couldn't find blades in stock at the time) a few weeks ago. Could not post at the rated speed using a 5:6 divider so pretty much gave up on them. Put them back in to test again and with some help from a couple guys in XS was able to reach 1200mhz using the 4:5 divider. Working on 1236mhz now.

Looks like after a few bsod's my date is not set correct but it was run today lol.

    got mine finally...

    Hi there.
Postman brought me my blade 1200īs today in the morning.
SPD is only programmed till 400mhz, as my board doesnīt provides less voltage than 1.8V in the Bios and overvoltes to, Iīve 1.84 on the sticks according to everest.

Running Prime large at the moment as I havenīt tested higher fsbs than 420 b4.

If you want to stick to 10x420MHz for the CPU I would run the memory with 3:4 divider on 400MHz strap with CL5, that should be a bit faster than 420MHz CL4.

    YES WE CAN!
P35 can run a lower PL than P45 at the same FSB speed.

    600MHz 5-5-5-18

By upping the frequencies to FSB 353 and RAM 617 (4:7) and increasing the VRAM to 1.85V (got a BSOD on 1.80) I did get an increase.
But the question remains: How can a 333MHz clock get such a high bandwidth?
FSB speed has only been changed a bit, run a higher FSB and smaller divider, that will give you way more bandwidth. And as mentioned by -n7-, nVidia chipsets are different, the normal rules for Intel chipsets don't apply there.
Try at least 400MHz FSB with 2:3 divider, then run Everest bandwidth test and report back ( please include MemSet in your screenshot ) !

I can't run over 450MHz FSB. Weirdly I have a BIOS that has a 1.4V max on the VTT, and when I exceed even to 460Meggerhurts the system gets unstable.

    Here's my satisfying run of DDR2-900 @ 4-4-3-12 1T

NVidia Chipsets have some mean strap changes where perfomance drops significantly at a certain FSB-speed. I know you want to reach a high CPU-clock, so these settings are optimal for you, but for highest Everest scores I still think you could find better settings.
Try 395MHz FSB 2:3 divider and run Everest and then 405MHz 2:3 divider.
I would like to know if 780i is still like 680i was.

My guess, tRD=6 at 450MHz FSB might be a bit tight...

I don't know man... I get the same bandwidth with the RAM synced to the 450MHz as I get when unhooking it and letting it run at 600MHz... It seems the speed only changes with the FSB, not the RAM speed.

I have no idea how that is even possible, to be honest.

Is the PL the same at each speed?

Hi 18, nice to see you here

I have NO idea. I downloaded MemSet from three different sources, and this is still all I get:

Where are all the other settings?!

    Weird. I guess it's a mobo thing.
With my Abit Pro, I couldn't change anything with Memset.

680i does not have tRD/PLs, or to be more exact, you can't influence it manually, that's why I said it does have some mean strap changes.

On 680i memory bandwidth is very dependend on CPU clock, not really much on FSB once you passed a certain speed because of the aforementioned strap changes. It shines on read and latency, but write and copy scores will always be lower than on Intel chipsets.

    Which other settings?
That's all you will get from it, be happy that you have tRC, that's a timing I miss on my Intel chipset, because it will help you generate more bandwidth. The problem is that you can't force a certain strap.

I will PM you some important threads and more info tomorrow, I'm too tired now and it doesn't belong here anyway... Okay?

It's not a Motherboard problem, you are all not familiar with nVidia chipsets, they are totally different from what we are used to on Intel chipsets.

Yeah, no offense meant, I'm tired so I might sound a bit harsh. Sorry.

I'm afraid it is, as 680i was the last new nVidia chipset, so 750i should be a shrinked version of 650i, but I'm not 100% certain.

So if I really want to get the most out of my memory, what must I change? I am not familiar with any of the lower values...

He might be asking that because I was asking him about it for my board.

I want to totally get some of this ram, but I'm not sure if will really help me that much. I've never seen this PL stuff. I was about to power down and go look for the PL and see what I was set at til I read the guy above not finding it.. I have the 750i FTW, and I used to have G-skill 1000 Mhz that COULD NOT even do that, but the Current Corsair Dominator 2x2GB 8500's run fine on 1066 and CL5. but I've not really tried for much higher, I think I'll give it a try now.

I've never messed with the strap as much as all you guys are saying here. I've done it, but changing the strap on a Nvidia board is completely different than on the EP45's. I had the pleasure of messing with the EP45 and some regular 1066 Mhz Blades and I got a Q6600 to 3.4 Ghz and the blades to 1120 within minutes stable as can be, I've not messed with it since. It's in the other room right now..

I'm wanting to get some Blade 9200's but I'm not sure how my 750i will take all this jazzz. so I don't know. Maybe I'll do what I saw another guy do and go for a decent speed and a tight timing. some 4-4-4-12 1.. but IDK.

edit* ya I'll go mess with my ram right now. as I've not really done to much with them cuz I'm at a nice stable spot right now running 4.0 Ghz with 444FSB with a 5:6 strap for 533 Mhz CL5

When I had my 680i board + cellshock D9GKX I was getting better memory bandwidth than some guys with DDR3 - high FSB and 1:1 divider rocks on these chipsets.

I had my shocks synced with the fsb at 475mhz: 950mhz 4-3-3-10, read was over 12,000mb/s, write was 10,200, and copy trailing at 8,000.

I really want to make 10,000 in all three columns but I have to push my blades to >1200mhz for that to happen and they need 1.9v, and seeing that EVP is only 1.85v...

Here's 10k across the board, but 1205 mhz

Hey guys, it's my second day with my OCZ Platinum LV PC2-9200's...
I had to lower all my boards drive strengths to minimum to get these stable.

I don't have to much money and parents don't understand why I bench or like computers so much so:

I've got Everest Numbers but no screenshot: (Ran tests separately)

    Memory Read: 10468 MB/s
    Memory Write: 9485 MB/s
    Memory Copy: 11125 MB/s
    Memory Latency: 38.3 ns

    Specs in sig, I'm currently doing 1100 5-5-5-12 2T tRC 17 @ 1.81v

System will not post @ 1100 5-5-5-10 2T tRC 15 @ 1.83v... Somehow completely stable at the above though.

Of the numbers or the timings? Again, I'm using the trial version and had to run them separately but I can give 4 little cut's from screenies if you want me to.

    Anyway, I'm not lying...

That's crazy memory bandwidth from an older cpu/mobo.

    Thx LennyRhys...
I'm thinking about taking the CPU multi down to 9x and clocking the hell out of the FSB for a bit, see how far I can take the ram...I'm not close to it's limit, but I'm at my CPU's limit. 3350 is only good for 1M Pi runs but 3300 passes OCCT Small/Medium/Large for 2 hours each.
