You both have different chipsets and different bios revisions. It's likely that the voltage increase steps are slightly different. The cpu also has something to do with it as each chip will have a minimum voltage that it will start at for any given speed. Why don't you try the multi step overclock function in the bios Panther. It lets you boot at stock settings or slightly overclocked settings and then applies the entire overclock once in windows.
