I would if I knew what they were supposed to be set at.

I tried running 6-6-6-16 1.66v 1146mhz still got error. But I will try it again...

I just have a bunch of finicky hardware and an extreme dud chip

I got it to work finally!

    here are my specs.

    19x211 4GHZ HT, RAM 1266 7-6-6-16-1T 1.66v VTT 1.21v superPI 32m 9m 35s

Also ran 1166 or something 6-6-6-16-1T 1.66v but 1266mhz at that speed failed right when I hit start

Wow I can't even get it 1700mhz to barely boot even with 9-9-9

I have the 6GB 8-8-8-24 Gold kit though, you have the 7-7-7-24 Platinum kit?

Guys, don't outright blame the ram unless you have tried it in some other board.

Get CPU Tweaker and take a look at the SPD option, and post a screenshot. I am going to say that your RAM is not cooperating because the board is setting extremely tight values on subtimings, as well as you need to do some RTL tweaking.

I'm running my OCZ1333MHZ CL7 at 6x with 6-7-6-22 1N, 1.65v and DRAM PWM switch to "reduce 15%", and 16x Uncore. All my sub-timings are on auto, and are almost the same as yours, but i see a big different on tFAW and RTL, 12/44(yours) and 15/60(mine). You can see my timings here:

    EDIT:
I remember when i was playing with RAM on my C0, I discovered that my sticks runs more stable with loose tRAS. My tRAS is 22 and yours is 16, and you could try to loosen yours.

Just tried your ram settings exactly, and even added to 1.69v.

    Fails 32m in 5 seconds

I tired both SuperPI and HyperPI without any problem before, but did a fresh run to make sure again, and it is running just fine:

Set TRRD to 14 in BIOS, it actually sets TRRD of 6 (your current is 4 which is quite tight). Also use other timings in the SPD JEDEC #3 column to set in BIOS, also increase TRFC to 68 from 44.

just tried them all individually, and they all crash loading windows. tried the yellow ram slow instead of the green...wouldnt even post

last one i tried got into windows and primed for about 5 seconds then errored out

and i tried it 8-8-8-24 auto settings 1680mhz, and the settings you said. both failed about the same

    Peen,

You really need to find someone with a different board to try your ram in. I have some 1866 here that won't even boot into Windows at 1710 or higher. Have them running in a P6T right now at 1866 with no problems at all. The yellow slot can't be used by themselves. Is that what you are attempting?

Sorry to ask but what you mean by 'not work on their own' on yellow slots?

Currently I'm fighting with Dominator 1600C8D ver 2.1 for next level
Running CPU 4300MHz with ram 1640 8-8-8-24 or even 9-9-9-24 (if all timings in auto) with setting VTT 1.32v Vdimm 1.635 results in BSOD after 10 mins Prime, but Lynx 20 steps passed succesfully.
If I set VTT 1.34v Vdimm 1.65v I get error in one thread of the Prime Blend after 1.5 hour.
What should I do next, rise voltage more or try to do some bios tweaks?
I do know what timings i have to use in 1640 becoz memory rated only at 1600 and very tight in overclock.
Bios 06/19 seems to work pretty good.

Btw, this RAM is stable at rated 1600 8-8-8-24 VTT 1.32v Vdimm 1.61v with CPU 4200
