    q9650 v core

    I am running q9650 with a asus P5E3 Deluxe at 4 GHz and v core of 1.42v in BIOS and CPU-z shows 1.4v on idle. prime 95 stable. I'm a bit worried about running the v core at 1.42v. Do you think it's safe? I tried to use load line calibration but it won't boot into Windows over 3.6 GHz. If anyone is running the same processor i would unappreciated if they could post their BIOS settings so I can see what I'm doing wrong. On other forums people are getting 4 GHz at lower voltages. please help.

    I got mine stable at 1.367V though some people got theirs stable with lower volts but I'm happy with it. 1.4V does seem a little high though, maybe it depends on your chipset and motherboard.

    q9650 v core

    is 1.367v in bios or in windows in cpu z? Are you using load line calibration? i tryed 1.367 v but not stable in a prime 95 test. i get to much v core drop.

    Whats the VID of your Q9650? Mine's a 1.25v VID.

    I run mine with 1.375v in BIOS and in windows it's 1.344v for 450x9.

    1.4v is kinda high for just a 450x9 overclock.

    it is a bit to high and load line calibration won't won't work above 3.6gzh. this never happned with my q6600.

    That's weird, did you try updating the BIOS of your board? Or did you try it on another board?

    i have updated my bios 1409 as well. no luck. maybe i just have a bad cpu

    jajaja i don't wanna give tha vcore to mine that's why i limit myself to 1,4vcore...maybe someday

    im pretty sure they will all do 4.0Ghz
    i can safely guarantee 4.0Ghz and higher with the UD3P/UD3R boards
