I think you fail to realize that different people have different degrees of fault tolerance. For example, I think if you want zero fault tolerance, you ought to live in a cage and use abacus for your math. In other words, while that small degree of CPU failure due to transient voltage with that setting is acceptable to you, it may not be acceptable to others. You should let others decide for themselves rather than telling them what to think.
In any case, I believe this topic has been discussed to death and there's no overall agreement on the issue of disabling vdroop. The best thing is to let people know about potential risks so that they could decide for themselves and avoid arguing about it because it won't do any good for any one.
