What stripe size are you guys running for your SSD RAID0 arrays? Why did you pick what you did? Did you evaluate or bench a variety of stripe sizes?
The reason I ask is that I recall that 64K was a sweet spot stripe size balancing parallelism with seek time. It would seem to me that with SSD's having virtually no seek time, you could run small stripe sizes without any negative effects. This would improve the parallelism as even small chunks of data and files would benefit from the striping.
Thoughts?
