that does look good but what about the alphacool dual slot display to use as posting temperatures and that stuff

oh wow!
I usually don't post but.. wow. This is, by far, the greatest cube case rig I've ever seen.
beautiful.
superb!
Thanks. I'm 50/50 on the green fans, now that I've replaced the blue ones with black - but, I kind of like themAs to too much light in the front - are you talking about the blue LED fan version? I'm now with no light in the front except the small HD fans and the CF display ...
Why would I want to change to alpha cool - the CF works fine (perhaps the comment was not directed to me)
Why, that's very nice of you to say, andrzr. I appreciate you taking the time to post your comment.
Still no new pic updates, as I've been goofing off - playing TopSpin 3 on my 360.
Hi there Shazza. What front panel is that? I couldn't find it on MM's site, the Horizon one only fits 1x 360 rad.
Thank you![]()
Sorry for my bad english.
It's the CYO model with the Duality front ...
Like others, I'm really digging the clean look in Iteration 13.
That shot with the teddy bears cracks me up! I'm really glad to see the pics back.![]()
Beautiful setup Shazza!
That looks incredible. Really nice, clean job. You could use some clear acrylic custom cut fan grills for those black fans. It wouldn't distract the view I think...

The exposed fans (#13) looks freaking sweet. I've never been a fan of too much case lighting (or LED fans) and 6 LED fans seem to overwhelm.

Shazza...#13 looks fantastic- i love that look
I hope that version stays![]()
personally, i dont really like any of the MM case's or any of the builds i think they look ugly and very boring, but this build has simply stunned me, it looks amazing, i love the colours in this build and the cable management, you have done an amazing job and should be very happy with it, the only thing im not so keen on is the fan guards :P other than that i freaking love it!!
keep up the good work!

Thanks for the comments, all. I continue to look into different grill solutions, but so far running grill-free and happy to report no teddy bears have been harmed.
Hehe ... I've been slacking. Still trying to organize my "new" office and getting sidetracked with Guild Wars and Top Spin 3. New pics will come, but I'm thinking about going on strike and not posting them until Rocky renews his thread!
Thanks, Jon - so far still in the No Grill club.
Thanks, exemay. I really did the RGB color scheme as a bit of a joke at first, but have to say it's grown on me now.
Shazza,
I have been watching your build with interest over time.
I see you really take pride in your work and photos. Just wanted to say good job.
Shazza put those filters back on.
I highly doubt your gonna show it off to people on a regular basis, so you want the dust protection more then the bling.

@ NaeKuh ... ahhh, looking good is critical. I have a constant stream of people through admiring my handiwork. Let's see ... there's the cleaning lady, the dog sitter, the carpenter who built some bookcases, and the guy who put a new water heater in, and ... well, that's about it![]()

what did you do with my little brothers??
j/k.
Beautiful build. I love you eye for details and your photographic skills are great too.![]()

Thank you, Jupiler - I PROMISE, I didn't hurt the bears. But ... I am not totally innocent ... as the following story will show:
OK, I know I've wandered into Off Topic territory a number of times, but trust me ... this does pertain to my current build.
THE STORY:
We leave the patio door open for the dogs to go in and out. Quite often have little birds fly in to scope out the kitchen. Today was a whole new story. I'm in my den, concentrating on killing the undead in Guild Wars. My husband comes in, searching for "The Dove" who flew in the house. "OH sure," I say ... like it would come in here ... would involve a flight through the family room, a right turn down the hall, another left turn into the den.
I'm back at it ... guiding my Wurm across the Desolation Wastes, when I hear a noise in the closet. "What's that," I say? Check it out, and sure enough, there's a dove perched atop the camera equipment in the closet. I open the door to the outside, and try to gently herd him/her to freedom. He/She panics, flies out of the closet ... and straight for my computer. Hovers over the GRILL-LESS top fans, then falls to the floor. "Oh my God," I say ... we've killed it. Damn, Nils said nobody needs to worry about grills.
So, what can I do? Well, I guess it's best to take a pic about now:
There it is ... it looks alive! Did it chop its leg off in the fans, or its tail feathers???? I dunno ...
A close up ... yep, it's alive:
(Now, don't have a heart attack about the unsightly cables ... they will be organized soon)
"What do I do now???," I think to myself. Of course, I call the hubby. "LOU ... HELP ME, I THINK We've maimed The Dove!" He comes in, gets a towel to rescue our poor dove. The bird crawls behind the desk ... he manages to coax it out and it flies brilliantly away through the open door to the wild blue yonder. "THANK GOD," we have a happy ending.
So, there you have it. Fans with no grills may just be dangerous after all, even when all teddy bears are removed from harm.
And, you might ask where our dogs were ... the Golden Retriever (duh, a bird in the house!!!) was sound asleep and could not care less. Theer Spaniel is so old she only wakes up to eat. So, that was my day

That's a Quail and your story was great. I needed a good laugh!![]()
Nice story Shazza. I'm suprised your dog didn't eat it or the bird didn't get sucked into your PC.
