How high are you running Uncore?

For DDR1600 @ 200 BCLK I have found that 3400Mhz/17x Uncore is way more stable than 3200Mhz/16x.

I assume you have tried with only 3 sticks, and that it still fails..?

No I haven't yet. I thought of it, certainly, but it's no long term solution to run my box on only 3 GB. Sure, it's a way to test and see... I'll do that sometime soon.

As for the uncore voltage, it is set to 1.375V.

I was experimenting a bit with the good old clock skews. It gives a bit more stability and reduced the crash frequency to maybe every 6-13 hours. Those crashes however often happen when starting Prime 95 after having run a couple passes of LinX and a few hours of Secondlife.

In the worst case I'll run my four modules at 1200. Never trade memory capacity for speed.
