I am not aware of anyone with stock on these yet, but I've not looked that hard. Sorry mate.

Ok, I can't confirm this one but from another thread someone said Compumusic is shipping D0 procs.

Also, Newegg is now shipping D0 as confirmed here, although I can't guarantee every order will be a D0, so similar warning as TigerDirect.

Also, Provantage and XPCGear are selling W3520s

Interesting... I was monitoring the Newegg reviews, some reviews made on the 16th specifically stated they did not get D0 chips. Considering how many warehouses and large volume Newegg uses, I am sure that odds are most are still shipping C0 chips. They have a warehouse in California and the individual making that post lives in California... so people near there might be in luck.

Provantage does not have stock on W3520's, they are only taking preorders. Their page was rather misleading.

Oh, that's too bad to hear. I am going to try a local shop tonight and if that doesn't work I will probably end up ordering from Newegg if no one else can confirm D0 stepping anywhere. I am from WA though, so I will probably be getting my stock from their CA warehouse. I was under the impression though that the various warehouses were for different items.

I can't say with absolute knowledge, but they only use a distributed warehouse network in order to more quickly ship packages to their customers. So it would make sense for them to try and stock each of the locations with nearly the same product selection. Quantities may vary but the actual product selection should be mostly the same.

This is pure speculation but I would guess their California location gets the most turnover since it serves the entire western half of the US. It also serves Western Canada... Their New Jersey warehouse serves most of Eastern Canada as well. Take of that what ya will though.

Note the ETAs differ depending on location. Just spoke to the Operations Manager, said he possibly could have one shipped to me today from NJ or CA. I'm in the PA ETA group (4/23). $305 shipped isn't too bad.

They're showing as in stock to me. Clicking their stock checker shows most of their stores to still have some stock left, but both of their warehouses are sold out. If all they have left is what is on the shelves then it's probably C0 stuff... but I added it to the frontpage with the usual warning. Thanks!

Some folks got d0 from ewiz last week, I ordered one over the weekend but won't get here til Friday They must all come from the same warehouse though because I live in Florida and it shipped from California about as far away as you can possibly get. So chances are good of getting d0 from there but of course not guaranteed.

Yup compumusic indeed shipping all D0 now and they have them in stock (got confirmation email of the stepping directly from their rep, which took him a day or two to reply after he'd checked with their distributor’s account manager. Here's the email I got from him:

    Hi Ben,

SLBEJ – Costa Rica is the one that we are shipping now, so you can place the order online and it will ship today.

Ben, that's good to hear! Nice to see some companies still listen to the individual customer... trying to ask the same question to Newegg or ZZF is an effort in futility.

Back in the day when AMD ruled the overclocking world compumusic was the place I always went to first whenever I was hunting for a specific stepping or batch#, and they never disappointed me, if they didn't have it in the warehouse usually they will let me know as soon as they got the specific one in stock. Generally their price is a quite a bit steeper comparing to newegg/mwave and such, but they back it up with excellent customer service and would go out of their way to check their warehouse on availability of the specific stepping/batch that you want. That's how I got hold of a few very nice Opteron 148 and 265 when I was phase-changing back then.

It specifically says "STEP LABEL: SLBEJ" here: http://www.compumusic.com/i489235.htm

I wish Newegg would do that, too. I think they will be flooded with orders if they do that.

that's exactly what they did on the Opteron 148 and 265 and listed the stepping/batch info 3 years ago after I requested a few times for the CABNE (the one in my signature). LOL If there's enough people to request for...say stepping D0 of 940, if they have em they'll update their sales page immediately with those info.

Does anyone know if Micro Center's price on the D0 is the same as the current price for the C0 ($229.99) or is it more? I'm just curious...

Interesting the things you learn... I'll have to add them to my bookmarks then, sounds like they've been around for awhile and know how to cater to picky enthusiasts. Thanks Ben.

I already have an order in route from another site else I'd have ordered from Compumusic already. Heard a second report that the New Jersey warehouse (newegg) was sending D0 steppings so I figured I'd gamble it, worst comes to worst I can eBay it and about breakeven.

They won't change the price due to a stepping... to them it doesn't matter at all. Of course their $229 sale could end at any time, it's a loss leader sale for them so I wouldn't expect it to last.

By the way, looks like compumusic dropped the price from $345 down to $315.19 today, when I requested the SLBEJ information few days ago they were selling the 920 for $345 + shipping....kudo to compumusic for the price drop!! 100 units in the warehouse may sound like a lot but once you let the cat out of the bag these sh1t will fly out of the shelve in no time, especially now that they have dropped the price down to a more competitive level.
