I would like to thank Alan who is the one that powdercoated my internals4 days it took him to send it away to get stripped of the old spray paint AND powdercoated, AMAZING! he only charge $60AUD ($44USD) too....I don't need to say anything more.
Sorry for the pictures, I really want to get this build 90% done this weekend, I'll have better pics of the internals tomorrow when I have daylight! (Please don't rain like it is now....)
This is where my build beings...............
I would also like to give a HUGE shout out to Shazza, she sent me some bitspower barbs which saved me A LOT in shipping etc.... One of the most generous and kindest person I have EVER come across, Thanks Sharon, I'd be extremely happy if my build turns out half as good as yours! Thanks!!!
More to come this weekend!

Nice job!The powdercoating looks AWESOME!
Your powder coating job looks wonderful, James. I'm happy to help contribute in a small way to your build, as I truly believe it's a great hobby, and something that will benefit you for years to come.
60 bucks is cheap for a quality job. Looking good.
Like everyone said,, the powdering turned out great.
The back panel where your switches are going to reside turned out very well.
Can't wait to see this thing put back together and running![]()

UPDATE - Mock build
hey guys!
After many dilemmas....I have to order a new midplate which should be here by the end of this week, my pump top will be here Wednesday, by the end of the week I hope to have this finished.
So I decided to put it all together to see how it looks, turns out pretty good IMO.
Few things I know that aren't right -
- The PCI-e cable on the right needs to be resleeved, I'll be using a 8pin extension so the 8pin plug is in one and not 6+2pin.
- The powdercoating on the back of the motherboard tray (on the left) is wrong....I think some of the sticky residue was left over from the sticky pad thing on there, any ideas how I can cover it up? I'm a bit stumped here.
- I know I have no pump top
Here are some pictures.......
<3 BP fittings
The cables at the rear are pretty much hidden, see the sticky residue on the left of the motherboard tray? Any ideas to cover it up?
Custom made fan controller steel plate turned out very good in black
Thanks guys....
It's looking good....
what happened to the midplate if you dont mind me asking?
Also you should be able to use some goo gone to get taht sticky reside removed, what is it from?
IC .... can't you just redrill a new hole and leave the exisiting one instead of reordering and powdercoating a new mid plate.
Also for the residue, it weird how the sandblasting didnt remove that residue before they powdercoated it...
You could creatinvely find a way to cover it with your cabling maybe if your going to some wire management back there or a plain black sticker maybe![]()
Ding Dong Ding Dong mate thats looking the Buziness!
Now please do PM me your powdercoaters details seeing as we are almost neighbours lol
