I have the koolance 350at and I love it.
It's the acetal version and personally, i think it looks a lot more classy than the clear top.
Either way, it works excellent and it is indeed an impressive piece all around.
Reading this thread makes me feel even better about it.

worry? i beg to disagree...
k350 pawned the high flow waterblocks...

i dont understand the HK block at all.
it has injectors but its free flowing like thre XSPC Rev.2? Does that make sense to anyone?
Injectors + free flowing?

which is why im saying i dont understand the block at all.
Now the basics of injectors, simplified, is to form an obstruction in the flow path, it increase velocity of the water. The increased velocity causes turbulance and aggitiation inside which leads to a more efficient heat transfer.
So if you have free flowing, WTF is the turbulance and aggitation?

I wonder if that means there's some more performance to be had with a different, more restrictive plate? Maybe they should sell blanks, like KL does for their 350.

you kidding me?
drop a 3.5mm nozzle and lets see how free flowing your fusion becomes.
4.4mm nozzle is what everyone used on a dualcore because thats what scaled the best on a single pump. And a 4.4mm nozzle + EK Oring is significantly more restictive then a fusion base.
Sorry, the block just makes no sense...
I want to see numbers on the block, if anything i can see it performing pretty well like the EK LT,
but better because of the thinner base, and smaller cut.
I still dont see how this would win against a upper tier injector block tho. The GTZ and KL350 for example.
Phobia is what really got me curious. Under a good pump, and that ultra thin of a base with micro pits, i think this can be a contender.

The key is in the shape of the top. It's LIKE the ek, but it is also very different. As for the plate in the middle it is less restrictive than the supreme's inner plate. Coupled with the deeper channels which stay deeper for longer. By eye it looks like it would have more flow. The numbers also don't lie either... look at HESmelaugh's results.
flow and pressure is inversely relative on the pumps we use. Thats why all pump charts start out with uber high pressure at near 0 flow rate, and you see it drop as the flow rates increase.
Meaning less flow = greater pressure.
So if it has little flow loss, it means the injectors arent doing there job. It has nothing to do with shape of top, that would allow a better wash, but you still need a pressure drop inside the block for there to be turbulance and velocity.
Im trying to understand this block, andy says it won, so i like to see final numbers.
