    Pinnacle 24

So I have just started my own company and am attending a trade show with the local chamber of commerce. I wanted to build a new rig to showcase on my booth that really set me apart from the other firms attending. I realize that making computers like this for clients will probably represent a fraction of what I do, but I really wanted to blow minds with this thing. Some architecture choices and loop design might go against the grain of what should make the perfect rig, but I am very happy with the results.

This is a DFI 790gx-m2rs with a phenom II 940, mushkin ascent ram, a 300 and 150 gig v.raptors with a 1terabyte drive for data, gtx295 and silverstone 750w ps.

Cooling is 2 mcp355's with xspc tops, 3/8 in tubing and compressions with misc bitspower 90's and rotary 45's, Anfi-tec cpu, pwm and chipset blocks and an ek block for the video card. There are 3 tfc 360 rads with a total of 14 nexus 120mm fans. The bios says 18C for the cpu temp (but that's obviously with next to NO load going on). It is also absolutely silent. I mean you can not hear a damn thing what so ever.

I would like to make a special thank you to Andre at Anfi-Tec for getting parts to me in time to complete this project on time and also for putting up with me being the most impatient customer ever. You make amazingly high quality blocks; I am extremely happy with them!

Anyways, on to the pics. I'm sure this build will evolve in the weeks ahead. It doesn't even have an OS on it. It posts and all hardware is recognized. Thats good enough for me to sit on a table with no monitor attached =)

The paint was actually done by my good friend that owns a paint and body shop. Its a custom color we mixed together over a few beers one night. I painted the rads myself though. He painted the case for the cost of a 12 pack of sam adams and a vegetarian meal my wife cooked him. Not a bad deal I'd say.

Do you know that your case is the only one that will fit a HWLabs GTX560 inside the case?

I'm guessing that would go in the front panel? I did not know that. I had originally planned to have cd drives, but that changed at the last minute when I realized the cuts I had made had rendered that idea nigh impossible. Thank god for MM cases being so modular that I could just flip a panel around. (thats why the 5 1/4 bay is on the bottom, hehe)

    HWLabs GTX560 is 23.81" long x 2" thick x6" wide..
Should fit inside under the top and/or on the bottom inside.
I have the rad and researched cases and yours is the only one thats 24" deep..

not cheap but if it's the same quality as the rest of Mountain Mods line worth the money I think..

I know I couldn't be happier with the quality of the case. I certainly don't see myself buying a new case for at least a couple of builds

Nice job. The white fans, rad, and ram sinks really set off the white tubing.

I just wanted to give an update to this. The trade show was today and this build was a resounding success. SOO many people stopped by the booth to ask about it. It was a perfect way to lure people in. After I had them in I was able to tell about the firm and what we offer. People were extremely impressed by it. I am so happy with this thing already and I still haven't even had an opportunity to put an OS on it.
