The results don't look very impressive compared to the C0 Core i7 920s. Hopefully this is a bad apple and that we see some real gains with the D0 revision. It would be nice to get 4GHz+ out of a typical 920 but right now you can't expect that as that requires 1.4V+ on most chips.

i dont know who are you and you dont need to know who i am so do not judge things what you dont know.
i dont believe that temp showed by coretemp is the real thing, i just said the new D0 runs a bit colder than the C0

Im at 4.2Ghz with 1.36V Full load (according to CPU-Z).

I just cant get 210Mhz Blck to boot, but Im kind of greedy on the VTT part. It's just I ain't much into the on the edge 24/7 OC's where the last few Mhz's need an extra nuclear power plant

I got 4.3Ghz running stable but I lost the notes. Should stop writing things down while being wacked from the Wodka, either the notes make no sense or I cant find them back the next morning It didnt need a lot of Vcore IIRC, but it did use some VTT.

Guess it's a BIOS bug, like enabling the 4th core on a AMD Phenom II X3 CPU.

Not sure though, but it's pretty sure it shouldnt be possible to have 22x multiplier on all cores

on DFI UT X58-T3EH8 you can enable all cores with 22x multi only if C3 state is enabled but without C3 you will need to disable 3 cores for 22x

eva2000...is there any disadvantage using C3 state? Seems some boards are Bclk limited at 222, this would break that bottleneck if the DFI would do 22 multi/4 cores.
I'm ditching my current MSI board cause it can't do sleep mode, so I've got the Biostar, Giga UD5, and DFI dk T3EH6 on my short list. Wanna attempt a record breaking run
this weekend, 22x might help if C3 doesn't hamper me.....what do you think?

No need to disable cores but you need to set C6 state & turbo enabled.

A better question is will it have a different SKU, or some way to distinguish it by looking at the box.

    My first impression with LN2.
well, cold give me not a better clock ,the max bclock is 222MHz
cold boot at -85c and cold bug at -120c
i need only 1.4v for 4662MHz (only screen).
the lowest vcore for 2d benching is 1.48v for 4600MHz+(at -110c)
and the lowest vcore for 3d benching is 1.6v for 4600MHz+(at -110c)

and here is my first numbers after one hour of benching , WinXP Pro SP2 with no tweaks and some LOD

    tonight i wll try Vantage

    Well done.

It seems they might run cooler but they DO also need similar volts to get maxed out.
