Retail Q9650 Overclocking Thread

Wow, that's pretty high voltage for 4Ghz. Do you have LLC enabled on that shot? The reason I ask is because I am running 480FSB, 4230Mhz p95 stable with 1.33v set in bios and CPUZ reads very close to that with LLC set to Auto. I have yet to gain anything with LLC enabled on both my P5E3 Premium or P5Q3 Deluxe. Most of the time when I enable it my system won't post. Better stability with it set to Auto, that's just my experience.

It seems to be one of the better steppings out there. Mine runs super cool and p95/LinX stable with low volts. What mb will you be using with your Q9650?

Okay, that sound very promising I'll be using my current mobo, a DFI DK P45 T2RS Plus. The CPU will be watercooled bij a D-Tek Fuzion

Sounds good. Post your results here for us to see. I would like to see how yours compares to my L844B. I would test with Intel Burn Test or LinX after you have found stability with p95. I was able to run p95 for 10hours+ with no errors or problems but was getting lock ups in COD World At War. I ran LinX and found I was not actually stable. Had to bump vcore up a notch.
