I know it's not the CPU because it passes Intel burn test and 12hrs. of Prime95. I know this Quad has more left in the tank, I'm at 4.1ghz with 1.3v vcore, 1.34v VTT. I can't go higher no matter what voltage I pump through the board, it just locks up just before or shortly after booting into Windows.
Welcome to DFI + Quads combination my friend. It is not a good board to use with these chips. I had same processor in my DFI X48 (check my build log in the sig) and maxed out with CRAZY voltages at 472 x 9 (1.6vtt 1.8pll etc)!

Now I'm happy at 4680Mhz (520x9 IBT/Prime stable) with 1.30vtt/1.5pll/1.389vcore.
