The board used for both the Dark and UT seem to be the same, but the heatpipe coolers are not. You linked to the Dark board.

wow, your system looks so clean and well thought-out with single mcw-30, just how it sjould be
uncompromising decision
i will do the same
finally, heatpipes centrilized cooling system has a real advantage
just interesting, do people from dfi made the possibility of using one wb specially?
mips
edit: do i need to change stock thermointerface??

@Factotum
Could you please check the distance between the two threads for the fittings on the EK S-Max? I am not sure if my fittings (outer diam. 20 mm) will fit on it ...
Thanks, but this is no answer to my question
I do not use the Feser-fittings (and do not plan to use them in the future).
I've now got a Swiftech MCW30 on my DFI UT X58 Northbridge. None of the installations packs worked to my satisfaction. The closest was the 'MCW30 AMD PACK'. I had to replace the two 4-40x1 1/4" screws with a couple of 4-40x1 1/2" screws. That made the spring mount setup perfect to attach the chipset to my NB.

I just read the See Removing Northbridge Cooler and now I know why removing the screws was so painful.
I'm guessing that where you say 'don't checked!!!' you mean 'didn't check!!!'.
I've got the Swiftech MCW30 on my NB but my PWM temp is still high under load. I was going to ask if I could remove only the PWM heatsink but from the image above I'd say the answer is yes.
Now what I need is a compatible mosfet block. I'm leaning towards giving the EK-Mosfet DFI UT Water Block - Acetal a try.

I like how this board could be watercooled. Neat, elegant and (I hope) efficient

Heatpipes will do good job I think, so I may watercool PWM (and SB) trhough the NB and heatpipes. Cooling system is real advantage of X58 over X38, so why throw it out?
So those MIPS block is not needed anymore. And loop restriction is lower also.

Hi!
The blocks that should fit are:
NB S-MAX
NB/SB 6
Mosfet DFI UT
This is visual fit.
Dont know why Mips had to make revision 2 for the X58 card???

So, without modding the EK UT Mosfet block will not fit?
My DDR2 Results:
Cellshock GMH 8500 2GB-1508MHz 2.74v vldt
Cellshock GMH 8500 2GB-1398MHz 4-4-4-12 2.74v vldt

OCZ Reaper 1200MHz PSC-1406MHz 2.28v vldt
Dominator 8500 GKX 2GB-840MHz 3-2-2-1 2.5v vldt
I think I might need to put water on my NB, and it seems to me the blocks that fit the t3eh8 will fit the t3eh6, would anybody agree or has definitive knowledge?
Main: i7-930 @ 2.8GHz HT on; 1x GIGABYTE GTX 660 Ti OC 100% GPUGrid
2nd: i7-920 @ 2.66GHz HT off; 1x EVGA GTX 650 Ti SSC 100% GPUGrid
3rd: i7-3770k @ 3.6GHz HT on, 3 threads GPUGrid CPU; 2x GIGABYTE GTX 660 Ti OC 100% GPUGrid
Part-time: FX-4100 @ 3.6GHz, 2 threads GPUGrid CPU; 1x EVGA GTX 650 100% GPUGrid
using only one mcw30 on the nb allowed me to lower temps on nb/pwm at idle from 54/59 to 33/41 respectively

Anyone have pics of EK-NB block on the DK X58? Not sure if NBSB-6 or S-MAX is best?
PS - Okay I can see the pics above now (was at work and they are blocked) - EK-S-MAX is looking good...........

I'm thinking about putting water on my NB and maybe on the SB, but I then have to remove the MOSFET-cooler too, right?
Will the EK NB Max 6 (or something like that) be sufficient enough to give me good temps with a i7 920 clocked to about 3.8 ghz? =)
