I do not have European pricing, but typically in LCD monitors, 16x10 will be your PC monitors, while 16x9 are LCD TVs. Due to the shape of the shadow mask, if you do any technical drawing, you will want to stay away from LCD TVs since they stagger the pixels, so a straight line looks a little more jagged than on an LCD Monitor.

If all you need this for is gaming and videos, I would say an LCD TV is just fine.
