as long as the voltage reqts are 1.65v you are fine.
if over that you might still be fine but you will be taking some risk.
I have seen it said, how official I do not know that if you keep mem v within .5v of qpi volts you are ok, but again I have not seen anything official on this.
So - what this means for example - is that if you run your qpi at 1.335v you should be able to run your mem at up to .5v above that - so 1.835v.
But again this flies in the face of the 1.65v rule that we have all heard from day one. I have run at 1.84 for oc up to 10 hrs with no harm (yet).

    @ GAR:

    Your signature states:

    Intel Core i7 920 @ 4GHZ | Noctua NH-U12P SE | Gigabyte EX58-UD5
Since I have the same CPU and Cooler except my board is the Extreme version which I believe makes no difference, could you send me your BIOS settings, since IŽd be content to run my CPU at 4GHz and in this way wouldnŽt need to do a lot of testing myself.

    Thx in advance

it might not be as easy as that, u most likely will have to make minor tweaks yourself unless you have the same batch cpu or even mobo.

try the setting i posted earlier with a little lower vcore.

I know they dont guarantee timings and speed using more than 1 kit depends on how good your IMC is
