I just got the UD3P today and OMG!

This is a nice board! You can tell right away how sturdy this thing is. It's very stylish too.

I'm just waiting on my E8600 to get here and then the fun will commence!

The ud3p does a great job of cpu and mch references by itself; but, there is a
    certain way you have to do it. Try this;
In bios set your CPU termination manually to 1.2
Then set your cpu ref to .76
Then set your mch ref to .76; not auto...
Then....Increase your CpuTerm to just a 'little' below your VCORE, maybe a notch or two. Your cpu and mch ref. will change when your change your VTT (cpu term)
If you are not completely stable after that; raise your mch ref one notch.
See if that helps. It has always worked for me.
BTW thanks for all the posts/info from Jor, viper, and all the other gurus in this thread. All you guys really helped me (saved me a ton of time). This thread is great!

Thanks but it seems like its not helping much. Right now, i am trying to achieve 3.91ghz stable on water. These are the settings i am using:

    CPUL PLL: 1.71
    CPU Term : 1.24
    CPU ref: 0.76
    CPU Vcore : 1.5
    Mch Core: 1.4
    Mch/DRAM ref: 0.9
    MCH ref: 0.800
    Ich I/O: 1.5

I was able to achieve 3.87ghz OCCT stable, but when i try to go for 3.9ghz, the system would automatically restart at about 48 minutes remaining. Anyone have some suggestion what might causes the system automatically restart? i tried to up the vcore to 1.55v, but still automatically restart.

    Yep, cooling on water.

Well the thing is i still can't figure what causes the system to automatically restart while priming with Linpack.

I tired with bumping from 1.506v to 1.55v in bios, still the system restarts while priming linpack.

    Which one?

Gonna buy a GA EP45 UD3P as a bench kit, will it be a good choice?
Want to use a E8600 and a Q9650 on it (dice pot)

    Thanks...

Oh one more question, are all UD3Ps rev. A3? Rev A2 P45 chipset sucks
