    New stuff, new pics.

Nexus disktwin, to mount my Raptor, undecided wheter i'll mount it horizontal or vertical yet.

I hope i can mod this front to fit my DVD drive, the backside tells me it needs a lot of modding though...

When there's holes involved one should always wear some rubber protection they say, so my murdermod will...

    Black rubber edgetrim

Sorry for the crappy pics, i need more light but i don't want to go outside with all my stuff and cam.

I also ordered a new PSU, a Silverstone Decathlon 800watt modular, my wife will kill me.

You're gonna love that DA800, excellent choice! Although I must say I'm surprised you didn't order one of the Silverstone Zeus PSU's.

I have one now, it was loud as hell, i changed the fan.

I wanted a modular affordable PSU so the DA800 was an obvious choice actually.

Hehe, yeah i'm pretty anxious myself to see what it's like.

You can actually swap out the stock fan for one much quiter but i taught me a valuable lesson: Never ever buy a 400+watt psu with just a single 80mm fan.

That DA800 should be ok, but the thought of having to go through all that sleeving is making my fingers hurt.

But then again, pain is temporary, pride is for ever.

Yeah, the M|M stuff is awesome, i love it already.

It indeed is crowded but it looks like it will all fit down there.

Now i have to wait for the parts to be finished from the powdercoaters.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

    Update:

Got so much exiting stuff in today i don't know where to start.

    Some new hardware

And picked my stuff up at the powdercoaters today!!

    Nice huh?

    Time to assemble now!

But then when i just removed the fingerprints to make some pics disaster struck...

The mobotray with the murdermod backplate slipped off the couch

Damage: on very nasty bend corner on the backplate, tried to bend it back the best i could

In reality it doesn't look as bad as in the pic but still a bummer.

Anyway, painted the dvd drive covers to match the interior

And just some arty-farty shots to give ya all a taste

Hope you all like it, definately more to come.

The "fell-down-bend" is not that bad - gives it character like a scar in your face.

Thanks Nils, i know it's there but i think when the build is finished nobody will notice really.

I should have taken a pic right after it felt, it really look awfull and it scared the cr@p out of me.

They are made in Canada and they have many uses. One being a Rad support and the other to cover up the I/O board on the inside front of the case.

I still think murdermod builds have lost their originality now becuase there are so many copies
....I hope you prove me wrong though!
